I remember when there was an app that required Jira to connect with Confluence. But now, it's much more seamless. No need to leave your Jira either. PLUS, you can make the new pages for Confluence space that you connect to your Jira project. 

Everything is much easier now. As it should be. You need to make sure that you have Confluence product added to your organisation. Once that is done, it's time for fusion! 

For seeing all of the templates in Confluence, you would need to go from your Jira to Confluence. But the essential work that is there, you can do it with ease.
