The dot is gone on August 19th

 Bye bye dot

We all started to ask: "Why", "What the...", "Here we go again" and such. This feature is getting retired at August 19th and will be replaced with command pallette. I can go rambling on and on, but Atlassian has all of the answers: Why are we removing the dot menu? . You should read it really. But then again, you will be confused again. I am sure of it.  To use the command palette:
  1. If you’re a Mac user, press command + K to open the command palette.

  2. If you’re a Windows user, press Ctrl + K to open the command palette.

What does Atlassian say more about this:

"We’ll start removing the dot menu from August 19 2024. This will allow us to invest our efforts into the command palette and improve it based on your feedback. Unlike the command palette, the dot menu is constrained by its code, making it difficult to update. Furthermore, the dot menu is only available in parts of Jira while the command palette can accessed regardless of where you are in the product.

The command palette aligns with features already used by our customers in other applications and will provide more seamless and intuitive experience, not to mention a much quicker way to complete tasks."
